GLG Launches Perspectives, Complimentary Event Series at New York Headquarters
May 29, 2025
Open to all GLG clients and Network Members, the in-person series explores trends, challenges, and innovation in key sectors.
GLG recently introduced a new in-person event series at the company’s Manhattan headquarters called Perspectives, featuring live roundtable and panel discussions with top experts in key sectors. The complimentary series brings together senior leaders with diverse backgrounds to shed light on the frontiers of the most dynamic and high-potential industries. Attendees can engage with the experts directly during roundtable discussions and Q&As, as well as one-on-one after the program.
“With Perspectives, clients, Network Members, and GLGers can engage with the world’s sharpest experts together – in live, organic discussions about the biggest challenges and opportunities in today’s economy” said GLG’s Global Head of Content & Events Andrew Rottas. “While our exclusive, paid events remain key to our clients’ research, we’re excited to offer this unique experience to the wider GLG community, and to continue introducing new ways for clients and experts to leverage the power of GLG to bring people and ideas together.”
GLG’s industry-leading Events business connects clients with top experts through in-person panels, site visits, presentations, and roundtable discussions, as well as live virtual webcasts. While most GLG events are custom-tailored to clients’ specific needs on a paid basis, Perspectives expands GLG’s marquee programming to a broader audience of users – as well as GLG experts and employees – in an open, collaborative forum.
So far, GLG has hosted two Perspectives events on the future of data centers and power generation:
- “Data Center Evolution: Unlocking the Next Era of Compute,” featuring Mark Monroe, former Principal Research Engineer for Data Center Advanced Development at Microsoft; Monika Murugesan, former Global VP of Product Management and Strategy at Schneider Electric; and Barry Smith, former Director of Market Development at Equinix.
- “Power Generation: Fueling Innovation and Infrastructure Advancements,” featuring Rich Glick, former Chairman and Commissioner of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission; Peter Kelly-Detwiler, Principal at NorthBridge Energy Partners; and Ryan Legg, former Executive of Technology Partnerships at GE Vernova.
There are two more Perspectives events programmed for 2025, which will focus on the future of healthcare and AI implementation, planned for October and December, respectively.
